Ghillies (Highland Shoes)
To maximize the life of your ghillies avoid dancing on carpet, outdoors, and on concrete. Dancing on these surfaces will quickly cause your shoes to wear out. Many dancers like to remove the insoles of their ghillies - Please BE AWARE that this can cause your shoes to fall apart at the sole and be harmful to your feet. THIS PRACTICE IS NOT ADVISED! Consider buying dancer over socks to prolong you ghillie life.

Tartan Socks
To prolong the life, look, and feel of your Tartan socks we suggest that you roll them down and ease them up your leg when putting them on, similar to putting on pantyhose. Do not pull the socks on by the cuff.
It is best to wash your Tartan socks by hand using ‘woolite’ or ‘zero’, and lay them flat on a towel to dry.
DO NOT hang them up to dry since the weight of the water will cause them to stretch.
